We stand behind the quality of everything we build. Whether you’re a dealer or an individual rider, this page outlines the warranty coverage, return process, and refund policy for all Dirtbag Brands products.
Lifetime Structural Warranty (Mirrors Only)
This is our promise to you. Dirtbag Brands provides a Lifetime Structural Warranty exclusively for the billet aluminum housing, clamp, and arm components of our Mirror products. We guarantee that the metal structure will not fail, crack, or break under normal riding conditions for the life of the product.
Glass Exclusion Addendum: NOTE: This warranty strictly EXCLUDES the mirror glass. While our 220°F Structural Silicone bonding is designed to cushion the glass and prevent vibration-induced cracking, glass is inherently a consumable item.
- The Reality: Glass breaks when it hits rocks, trees, or the ground during a rollover.
- The Rule: Impact damage to the glass is not considered a manufacturer defect and is not covered under the Lifetime Structural Warranty.
General Warranty & Responsibilities
Regular Maintenance is Required To maintain warranty eligibility, you must responsibly check all screws, nuts, and bolts on your vehicles routinely to prevent loosening. We highly recommend using blue thread lock on steel hardware and billet components for additional security.
Our Responsibility Dirtbag Brands reserves the right to repair or replace any defective products at our discretion. The term for any implied warranty (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) is limited to the duration of this express warranty. Dirtbag Brands is not responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or damage arising from the use or inability to use our products.
Scope and Limitations
This warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage caused by how you ride or how you install the part. The following are strictly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Crash & Impact Damage: Damage caused by rollovers, hitting trees/rocks, or collisions.
- Improper Installation: Damage resulting from loose bolts, improper assembly, or failure to follow torque specs.
- Neglect & Abuse: Damage caused by failure to maintain the product or intentional abuse.
- Transport: Damage occurring during shipping (these must be reported to the carrier).
- Aesthetics: Normal wear and tear, fading anodizing, or surface scratches from harsh terrain use.
- Labor: Costs associated with removing, reinstalling, or adjusting the product.
Note: This warranty does not amend or prolong the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.
Refund & Return Policy
All refund and return requests must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Accompanied by proof of purchase.
- In new, unused condition
- In original packaging.
Warranty Policy Detail: How to Return an Item
For warranty service, refunds, or exchanges, you must obtain an RMA number. Contact Dirtbag Brands on our Contact Us for this number. Prepare the following information for the process:
1. Get an RMA Number Do not ship items back without approval. You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Contact: Reach out via our Contact Us Page to request your RMA.
- Required Info: Name, Address, Phone #, Part #, Receipt/Order #, Date of Purchase, and a description of the issue.
2. Ship the Item
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Packages without an RMA number will be refused and returned to sender.
- Include a copy of the original receipt inside the box.
- Customers/Dealers are responsible for shipping costs to Dirtbag Brands.
3. Inspection & Resolution Dirtbag Brands verifies all warranty claims upon receipt.
- Approved Warranty: We will repair or replace the item and cover the shipping cost back to you (matching the original shipping method).
- Returns: Refunds are processed after inspection confirms the item is new and unused.
Time Limit: Returns are not accepted more than 30 days after the RMA issue date. Shipping discrepancies must be reported within 5 business days of receipt.
