Polaris Ranger side mirrors are one of the most commonly upgraded parts on XP 1000 and XD 1500 models—and one of the most frustrating to get right
Most factory and aftermarket Polaris Ranger side mirrors rely on lightweight plastic housings that shake, loosen over time, and struggle to stay clear—especially on machines with Pro-Fit cages, sealed doors, and tight tolerances. On these platforms, vibration control and proper fitment matter more than anything.
Cabbed and non-cab Rangers require completely different mounting solutions, and most clamp-on or “universal” mirrors simply don’t fit correctly or interfere with windshields and door systems.
That’s why we engineer billet aluminum Polaris Ranger side mirrors specifically for XP 1000 and XD 1500 platforms—delivering a rock-solid, vibration-free view with clean, factory-style fitment.
Whether you’re running a full cab or an open Pro-Fit cage setup, the right mirror makes a noticeable difference in visibility, durability, and overall ride quality.

Polaris Ranger Side Mirrors for Cabbed XP 1000 & XD 1500
Cabbed Polaris Rangers are where most side mirror setups fail—and choosing the correct Polaris Ranger side mirrors is critical. Most ABS plastic and clamp-on mirrors fail quickly due to vibration, door interference, and poor mounting geometry.
Because cabbed XP 1000 and XD 1500 models use sealed door systems, there is no proper clamp location for traditional mirrors. That’s why door-mounted Polaris Ranger side mirrors are the only solution that maintains factory sealing, visibility, and long-term stability.
Our Mirror-04 is engineered specifically for cabbed Polaris Ranger platforms, mounting directly to the door structure for a rigid, factory-style fit. Unlike clamp-on designs, it eliminates vibration at speed and maintains a consistent field of view even on rough terrain.
For Polaris Ranger XP 1000 (NorthStar/Cab), we include a precision drill template that aligns with the door panel for accurate installation and a secure thru-bolt connection.
For Polaris Ranger XD 1500, installation is even simpler. Factory doors include pre-installed threaded mounting points, allowing the mirror to bolt directly into place—no guesswork required.
Every Mirror-04 system also includes an integrated pod light mount—adding functionality for trail riding, work applications, and low-light visibility without compromising fitment or stability.

Polaris Ranger Side Mirrors for Non-Cab Pro-Fit Cages

Not all Polaris Rangers run a full cab, and choosing the correct Polaris Ranger side mirrors for non-cab models is where most fitment issues start.
For XP 1000, 900, 570, and XD 1500 models without doors, Polaris Ranger side mirrors must mount to the Pro-Fit cage at the A-pillar—not the door structure. Most clamp-on or “universal” mirrors don’t account for this geometry, which leads to poor fitment, vibration, and interference with windshields or accessories.
Our Mirror-02 is engineered specifically for non-cab Polaris Ranger setups, delivering billet aluminum strength and vibration-free stability without interfering with roofs, windshields, or factory components.
Mounting location—not just clamp size—is what determines whether a mirror actually works on a Ranger.
If your Ranger does not have enclosed doors, this is the correct mirror solution.

Polaris Ranger Essentials: Whips, Rotopax, & Fire Extinguishers

While our side mirrors fit both the XP and XD platforms, mounting accessories to the rear of the cage is a different story. The Ranger XP 1000 uses the profiled “Pro-Fit” tubing on the A, B, and C pillars. However, the new Ranger XD 1500 switched to square “boxy” tubing for the rear B and C pillars.
For Ranger XP 1000 (and 900/570) owners with the standard Pro-Fit cage, we have engineered specific billet solutions to expand your capacity:
- Pro-Fit Rotopax Mounts: Long days on the ranch or deep backcountry hunting trips require extra resources. Our Billet Rotopax Mount allows you to securely carry extra fuel or water containers on the rear of your cage. It bolts on without drilling and keeps your packout tight against the ROPS so it doesn’t snag on brush.
- Pro-Fit Whip Mounts: Visibility is safety. Our Billet Whip Mount is machined to match the exact profile of the Ranger XP 1000 cage. It features 360-degree rotation, allowing you to angle your LED whips or safety flags perfectly without interfering with the roof or enclosed cab.
- Quick-Release Fire Extinguisher Mounts: Safety gear is useless if you can’t get to it fast. Our Billet Fire Extinguisher Mount clamps directly to the rear vertical Pro-Fit pillars. It offers a rattle-free hold and a single-pull release pin for immediate access in an emergency.

(Note: Because the Ranger XD 1500 uses square tubing on the rear cage, these specific Pro-Fit mounts are compatible with the XP 1000 and smaller platform only.)

No. Mirror-04 is designed specifically for cabbed models using the OEM A-pillar mount. For non-cabbed Rangers, use Mirror-02.
In most cases, mirror vibration comes down to mounting geometry rather than mirror size or glass quality. Specifically, many aftermarket mirrors rely on round clamps with rubber shims mounted to the Ranger’s Pro-Fit cage, which is not round. As a result, the rubber compresses and releases under engine vibration or washboard terrain, creating harmonic movement that blurs the image.
By contrast, a rigid, profile-matched mounting interface removes that “spring effect.” Because there is no rubber to flex, the mirror remains stable and readable even at sustained speeds or under heavy load.
Yes. Components should come with it. Although we recommend double checking and using blue threadlocker on all stainless hardware to prevent loosening from vibration.
Not exactly. Both use a door-mounted setup, but the installation process is slightly different. The XP 1000 requires drilling into the door using a supplied template and spacers, similar to the OEM mirror design. The XD 1500 features a pre-installed threaded bung inside the door — simply drill at the factory dimples using the included guide for a clean, secure fit.
Yes. Mirror-04 is fully compatible with Polaris Ranger XP 1000 and XD 1500 NorthStar Edition models that come with factory cabs.
Yes—however, this follows the same OEM installation logic used by Polaris. On the Ranger XP 1000, factory-style mirror mounting requires drilling through the door panel and installing steel spacers to create a solid, load-bearing attachment point. For that reason, our mirror system uses the same approach to ensure proper alignment, strength, and long-term durability.
On the other hand, the Ranger XD 1500 uses a different strategy. Polaris pre-engineered mirror mounting points into the door structure, and as a result, factory dimples mark the locations of welded-in threaded bungs beneath the plastic. Installation simply involves drilling at those marked locations to expose the bungs and bolting directly into the factory structure. In other words, the drilling process is intentional, controlled, and fully supported by the vehicle’s original design.
