The latest UTV platforms — from the Polaris RZR Pro R and Pro S to the Can-Am Maverick X3, Maverick R, and Kawasaki’s new Teryx4/5 H2 — share one major design change: narrow A-pillars in the front with wider B and C pillars in the rear. It makes the cage sleek, but it also creates a blind spot that most mirrors cannot clear.
Even race-style billet mirrors with premium looks fail here. They stop short, leaving two-thirds of your rearview blocked by doors and body panels. Standard plastic mirrors do even worse, rattling out of position, fading in the sun, and cracking under trail abuse.

Polaris engineered the Pro R and Pro S with aggressive width and updated A-pillar geometry. Mirror-01 extends wide enough to clear the body lines, giving a true rearward view. Unlike standard or race mirrors, it doesn’t stop at the cage. Utv Mirrors RZR Pro R fitment can be just a bit tricky after all.

Maverick X3 (DS, RS, RC, MR, MAX)
The Maverick X3 cage flares hard behind the A-pillar, blocking most mirrors. Mirror-01’s 360° neck and extended billet arm position the glass outside the flare, restoring visibility.
Maverick R side mirrors: high-speed stability
